PENDIDIKAN DAN LATIHAN DASAR DRUM CORPS SARASWATI ISI YOGYAKARTA DIVISI COLOUR GUARD

Abstract

Drum Corps Saraswati is a marching band in Yogyakarta which has routine activities, that is education and basic training. The purpose of this activity is to train hard skills according to divisions and soft skills in the organization, to direct prospective administrators and trainers in managing the marching band organization, to tell how to make daily and annual work programs, to prepare trainers who are ready to face competition and to provide leadership training.  For prospective color guard coaches so that they know their responsibilities and duties as coaches. It will be held on 30th June-1st July 2022, this location is in the Multipurpose Building and Rectorate Building, 3rd Floor, Indonesian Art Institute, Yogyakarta. This activity was attended by 26 participants, 4 participants from the color guard division. In its implementation, two methods are used, namely lecture and practice. Both methods are carried out so that the material presented can be better understood by the participants. The material provided is in the form of preparing work programs, making costumes & flag designs, leadership, and making warm-up materials using the tools used by the color guard.
